Babylonstoren has an exciting new opportunity for a Production Assistant to join the farm kitchen's ready to-eat production team.
Requirements
- A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12)
- At least 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a production or food processing facility
- Good comprehension and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- Good interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of the ready-to-eat meal production process
- Available to work overtime, as well as nightshift and over weekends, when it is operationally required
- Perform general tasks in the farm kitchen facility
- Comply with food safety, as well as health and safety requirements
- Carry out health and safety procedures, as well as housekeeping procedures, according to prescribed audit guidelines
- Production and labelling of various meals
