Job Purpose

The purpose of a Product Analyst Core is to bridge the gap between business needs, user requirements, and technical capabilities to deliver high-quality and value-driven technology solutions.

Job Objectives and Functions

Market Research and Analysis
  • Conducting thorough market research to identify consumer needs, preferences, and trends related to the product or service. This involves analysing competitors, market dynamics, and customer feedback.

Data Analysis
  • Collecting and analysing data from various sources such as user behaviour, sales figures, and customer feedback to identify patterns, insights, and opportunities for product improvement.

Product Development Support
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers to define product requirements, prioritize features, and contribute to product roadmap planning.

Performance Monitoring
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success and effectiveness of product initiatives. This may involve monitoring metrics such as user engagement, retention rates, conversion rates, and revenue growth.

User Experience (UX) Evaluation
  • Assessing the user experience of the product through usability testing, feedback analysis, and user behaviour analysis. Making recommendations for enhancing usability and addressing pain points.

Feature Prioritization
  • Working closely with product managers and stakeholders to prioritize new features or improvements based on data-driven insights, market demand, and business goals.

Reporting and Communication
  • Presenting findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through reports, presentations, and data visualization tools. This includes communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

Continuous Improvement
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of products by identifying areas for enhancement, conducting A/B testing, and iterating based on user feedback and performance data.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation
  • Identifying potential risks and challenges associated with product initiatives and proposing mitigation strategies to minimize negative impacts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborating with teams across the organization including marketing, sales, customer support, and finance to ensure alignment of product strategies with broader business objectives.
