Warehouse Administrator (Internal)

Description
The purpose of this position is to document and capture all stock movements within the warehouse, between warehouses, to clients and from production departments.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the accurate scanning of all inbound and outbound stock
- Responsible for the conversion of holding codes to normal codes on products
- Report time movement of trucks
- Ensure that trucks are loaded according to slot bookings and report out of slot bookings
- Responsible for the checking the accuracy of all inbound and outbound documentation
- Processing of warehouse/batch transfers
- Coordinating the picking of stock
- Linking stock to trucks (Inhouse System)
- Chep Controller
- Responsible for stock counts, capturing of data and relevant inspections
- Daily administrative duties
- Housekeeping
Health and Safety
- Participate in safety forums created by Soill for example safety meetings and safety talks
- Follow-up on any activities assigned through safety meetings / committees / representatives / management
- Report all safety incidents to the relevant people
- Attend safety education and refresher programmes
- Comply with safety policies and procedures at Soill
- Distribute safety information as and when required
- Wear protective clothing (where applicable) at all times
Requirements
Qualification and Experience
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant working experience within a warehouse would be advantageous
- Computer Literacy on MS Office Packages
- Knowledge of SAP advantageous
