Job Description

To provide onsite support to a key customer.

Required outputs: fuctional

• To provide technical support at the customer for foundry products supplied by AECI.
• Conduct trials at customer site for AECI products.
• Supporting the lab at the customer site on sand and resin performance testing.
• Results reporting, preparing and delivering presentations to management and customer.
• Helping with trouble shooting at the foundry floor.
• Stock monitoring and liaising with the stores and purchasing departments.
• Ensure compliance to safety by living the Zero Harm philosophy of AECI.

Qualifications & Experience

Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science

• Degree –Physical Metallurgy Engineering (B Eng. / BSc / B Tech) or Equivalent
• Minimum 5 years in a Foundry environment with coreshop experience.
• ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) registration as appropriate (with required CPD - advantage).
• Good knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Practical understanding of Foundry Technology and Operations Management.
• Preferably an individual who resides in Cape Town and surrounding areas.
