Our client in the consulting environment is looking for a Resident Engineer for supervising the construction of pipelines, pump stations and managing the construction. This role is based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Our client in the consulting environment is looking for a Resident Engineer for supervising the construction of pipelines, pump stations and managing the construction. This role is based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Supervising the construction of pipelines, pump stations and managing the construction.
- Overseeing day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with project plans and specifications.
- Manage Target Enterprise Contractors.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team.
- Addressing and resolving any on-site technical issues or challenges that arise.
- Preparing and submitting regular progress reports to project managers and stakeholders
- BSc / BEng or BTech Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 8 years' experience
- Registered as a Pr Eng/ Pr Tech/Pr Techni
- Proven experience in pipeline and pump station projects
- Must be based in Western Cape
- Autocad
