The Occupational Therapist is to deliver expert treatment and care to addiction and psychiatric patients. As well as being a passionate and boundaried individual

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions in the therapeutic programme
• Conduct individual sessions with patients
• Conduct conjoint sessions with patients’ families
• Participation in all groups to gain an understanding of the programme and be able to facilitate various groups when required
• Assessment of patients
• Carry out administrative tasks
• Report writing
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary team
  
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with a valid HPCSA registration
• Up-to-date Malpractice Insurance
• Experience within an addiction and/or psychiatric environment/hospital
• Awareness of evidence base for interventions
• Good written and spoken English language skills
• Computer literate
  
  

Salary is market related
