Leadership and Planning:
Strategically plan all sales activities for allocated accounts.
Serve as a consistent point of contact for assigned customers.
Apply the retail pricing framework profitably and sensibly.
Facilitate efficient liaison meetings at dealer level.
Coordinate aftersales support for strategic accounts.
Provide consulting services on total operating costs and transport solutions.
Foster and manage positive supplier relationships.
Contribute to improved customer satisfaction (CSM) and long-term relationships.
Offer sales engineering advice to ensure optimal vehicle selection.
Uphold company SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) policies.
Ensure high standards of housekeeping in and around the facility.
Meet or exceed annual sales, market share, and profitability targets.
Only utilize approved aftermarket suppliers to preserve vehicle warranties.
Deal Process Management:
Oversee the complete sales process:
Deal closure.
Vehicle selection and load body fitment/procurement.
Delivery and customer handover.
Payment processing and deal file closure.
Maintain strict control over vehicle deliveries and documentation.
Customer Relations:
Maintain regular contact with customers throughout the vehicle sale process.
Follow up with prospective clients weekly (via phone or email).
Visit prospective clients at least twice per month.
Contact existing clients telephonically at least once a month, with a monthly in-person follow-up.
Customer Retention & Growth:
Maintain and update customer database monthly in Excel or as per company guidelines.
Share updates with the Sales Manager and Sales Administrator electronically.
Grow and nurture client relationships by regularly providing market and product updates.
Monitoring & Administration:
Ensure timely invoicing of vehicles.
Monitor vehicle payment timelines to ensure compliance and timely commission processing.
Confirm full payment for cash sales.
Take immediate corrective actions on discrepancies or delays.
Customer Care:
Ensure consistent, high-quality interactions with customers.
Deliver relevant and accurate feedback to clients.
Uphold the company image as trustworthy and reliable.
Electronic Selling Tools (Transolve/HTM):
Prepare and present quotations with a minimum of an electronic mass distribution drawing (side view).
Include route simulations and additional materials for corporate clients to aid in vehicle understanding.
Contribute to overall department goals through unit sales and profit performance.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Matric or higher qualification
Experience: 3–5 years in the trucking or commercial vehicle industry
License: Code 14 license (advantageous)
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the Road Traffic Act
Personal Attributes:

Strong attention to detail
Excellent customer relations and communication skills
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
