Regulatory Compliance:
Monitor and evaluate HSE systems to ensure alignment with current legal and regulatory requirements. Support the implementation of compliance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Internal Auditing: Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits to assess compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and operational standards. Identify non-conformances and support the development of corrective and preventive actions.
Training and Awareness: Develop and maintain HSE-related training content, including toolbox talks, induction materials, and safety communications. Support the delivery of training sessions and awareness campaigns.
Risk Management Support: Facilitate and document risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) processes, and other risk-related activities in collaboration with operational teams. Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of risk controls.
Contractor Compliance: Participate in the evaluation of contractor onboarding processes to ensure adherence to HSE requirements. Monitor contractor compliance throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Legal Compliance Oversight: Ensure that legal appointments for employees and contractors are in place and compliant with statutory obligations. Maintain oversight of the appointment process and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement: Attend relevant business and HSE committee meetings, contributing subject matter expertise and supporting compliance initiatives. Provide input into strategic planning and policy development.
Guidance and Oversight: Provide direction to administrative personnel on document control protocols, including numbering conventions, version control, and secure storage. Ensure that compliance documentation is accurate, accessible, and audit ready.
Strong understanding of HSE systems, legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience in internal auditing, risk facilitation, and training material development.
Familiarity with documentation control practices and compliance reporting.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to team-based objectives.
