We are looking for a Outsourced Testing Administrator in 4 Pearl Street, Tamsui Industria, George, WESTERN CAPE 6529 ZAF. Your mission will be to:

We currently have a vacancy for an Outsourced Testing Administrator role in the Outsourced Testing Department.
The incumbent will act as the Administrative support function for the Outsourced Testing Services, including financial and logistics administration.
Key Requirements:
Knowledge:
  • Good understanding of financial concepts (invoicing, revenue, expenses, accruals).
  • Good understanding of international and local logistics procedures and requirements- adhering to the MXNS global International Trade Compliance guidelines
  • General understanding of Chemistry (90%) and Microbiological (10%) testing for food, feed, packaging, water, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals.
Work Environment: On-site collaboration with Sample Receiving, Customer Care/ Sales, and Finance teams.
Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, multi-tasking and time management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience: Practical experience in a laboratory and/or financial processes will be highly beneficial.
Hours: Weekdays, 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Generate manual proforma invoices for outsourced testing, based on quotations, price lists, SLAs and tenders, for processing by the debtors department.
  • Address and resolve customer invoice queries related to outsourced testing.
  • Liaise with subcontractors to obtain quotations and proforma invoices, and create Purchase Orders for Subcontractors and OMS activities.
  • Process subcontractor invoices and close purchase orders in accordance with Procurement Procedures.
  • Coordinate the import and export of samples to and from South Africa.
  • Manage courier communications and follow up on detained parcels.
  • Handle and process international courier invoices for payment.
  • Provide backup support for OMS sample registration as needed.
  • Assist with the manual dispatch of Test Reports or Certificates of Analysis to customers, when required.
  • Assist Customer Care and Sales teams with Outsourced Testing Queries when required.

YOUR PROFILE

Minimum of a matric certificate, but some tertiary courses in Administration and/or Logistics and/or Food science will be advantageous.
