About the Position:
The Digital Marketer (remotely from Cape Town, South Africa) will take ownership of the entire global digital marketing function assisting the company to gain sustainable growth, cost effectively. It is a ‘hands on’ position and will be ideally suited for the person who enjoys taking care of the entire digital marketing function. The position will work hand in hand with the Senior Management team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Email Marketing
- Plan and deploy email newsletters, lead nurturing sequences, and targeted campaigns (B2C and B2B).
- Ensure content relevance by segmenting audiences and tailoring communication.
Content Strategy & Collaboration
- Coordinate content across teams (sales, account managers) to align messaging with the buyer journey.
- Organise and manage marketing materials and support the development of brochures and other branding content.
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and manage content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Grow brand awareness, engagement, and community through consistent messaging and interaction.
Marketing Automation & Analytics
- Design and optimise sales and marketing automation workflows (HubSpot experience is a major plus).
- Develop actionable dashboards and reporting systems to track ROI, funnel performance, and campaign metrics.
Inbound Lead Generation & Digital Campaigns
- Drive quality lead acquisition through SEO, paid campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), growth hacks, and earned media.
- Build and manage high-converting ad campaigns that attract new clients
Qualifications & Work Experience
- 1– 3 years of hands-on digital marketing work experience across SEO, paid traffic, email campaigns, and content strategy.
- Formal tertiary qualification in Digital Marketing (or related field).
- Solid understanding of HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms).
- Experience working with Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Ads, and email marketing platforms.
- Strong data literacy – you can analyse data in Excel/Google sheets, report, and act on marketing performance.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and self-management skills.
- Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Working Days/ Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 to 18:00 (South African Time)
