About the Position

The Associate Revenue Manager (remotely from Cape Town) supports the company’s revenue optimization efforts within the short-term rental (Airbnb) market. Working closely with the COO, this role is responsible for implementing dynamic pricing strategies and pricing models across the company’s portfolio of properties based in the United Kingdom, France and United Arab Emirates. The individual will conduct data-driven performance analysis, monitor market trends, and ensure property pricing adjustments are made timeously across all the markets. While some data analysis is required, the primary focus is on executing and refining the company’s pricing strategy and pricing models to maximize occupancy and yield.


Main Duties & Responsibilities


  • Support the COO in executing the overall pricing strategy and identifying opportunities for revenue growth;
  • Apply the pricing strategy to newly on-boarded properties, ensuring alignment with the established pricing model and tailored market design strategy
  • Monitor portfolio performance on a micro level and adjust property rates based on market demand, competitor pricing, seasonal trends, and performance data.
  • Analyze property booking patterns, revenue performance, and key metrics, providing insights to support revenue decisions.
  • Perform property market analysis at multiple levels — from global to granular (e.g., country, city, district, property type) — tailored to the characteristics of the managed property portfolio.
  • Conduct macro-level property portfolio performance reviews, analyzing property portfolio-wide trends and deviations from forecasted performance.
  • Develop and improve pricing strategies using insights from market analysis to optimize revenue across the property portfolio; 
  • Communicate pricing strategies clearly to Property Managers and Onboarding Specialists, supporting understanding of global property pricing and alignment across departments
  • Enhance and maintain the pricing model, aiming for increased granularity, operational efficiency, and optimal revenue performance at both micro and macro levels.  
  • Create and maintain tools and systems to support the implementation, automation, and ongoing monitoring of the pricing strategy.


Qualifications, Knowledge & Work Experience


  • A degree in ‘finance’, ‘economics’, ‘data science’ or a related field is preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in revenue management, pricing, or yield optimization, ideally in the hospitality, property rental, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Experience working with dynamic pricing tools or platforms, especially within the short-term rental or Airbnb ecosystem (e.g., Beyond Pricing, Wheelhouse, PriceLabs).
  • Exposure to data analysis and performance tracking, using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or BI dashboards (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity and work experience with vacation management software.  
  • Experience collaborating across teams, particularly with operations, sales, and customer service, to implement pricing decisions effectively.
  • Basic understanding of market research and competitor analysis in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication for internal training and stakeholder reporting
