Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer orders for spare parts accurately and efficiently via phone, email, or online systems.
  • Maintain and update the parts inventory system, ensuring stock levels are accurate.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely ordering and delivery of parts.
  • Generate sales quotes and invoices, and handle customer queries regarding orders.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with logistics teams.
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks including order entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing reports on sales performance, stock movement, and backorders.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and health & safety policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to maintain positive relationships.

Requirements

REQUIEREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a parts or technical sales environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good numeracy and attention to detail
  • IT literate – experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and inventory/ERP systems
  • Experience with parts systems, or manufacturer-specific platforms
  • Basic technical understanding of parts/products in relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes
