What will you do?
This role resides in Diep River, Cape Town and reports to Collections Team Leader. The Collections Debt Review Administrator manages a debt review portfolio and ensures all legislative and compliance requirements are achieved. The incumbent does this by maintaining compliance requirements such as Debt Collectors Act, National Credit Act of 2005 and the National Credit Amendment Act of 2014.

Role Responsibilities
- Manage the EDC relationship to ensure they fulfil all required actions.
- Ensure Debt Review portfolio is managed effectively, and all required tasks are completed at quality standards and within turnaround time.
- Ensure account level actions are taken on system to maintain accurate workflow.
- Ensure all debt review documents are received and processed where applicable.
- Ensure restructures are completed.
- Ensure the EDC’s perform at the agreed upon levels.
- Ensure commissions are paid and invoices signed as per the DOA.
- Ensure reports are created, updated and tracked to ensure the optimal performance
- Ensure queries are resolve within turnaround
- Manage the reckless lending and affordability assessment process, and ensure all assessments complies with all NCA (National Credit Act) requirements and QA standards.
- Strong Knowledge of Debt Review Process(Understanding Debt Review Legislation)
- Experience of Induplum, Prescription and Mora Interest.
- Attention to Detail(Accurate Record Keeping)
- Recoveries experience of 2 or more years.
- Problem-Solving Abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent Time Management
- Good knowledge about the product.
- Target driven.
- Good risk awareness and understanding of legislative requirements.
- The ability to navigate systems.
- Team work.
- Continuous Learning(Staying Updated: Laws around debt review)
- Matric / Grade 12 or international equivalent industry relevant training courses.
- Min 2 year's experience in a contact centre environment.
- Min 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Advanced Excel
- PowerPoint.
- SQL – advantageous.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge in the contact centre environment.
- Knowledge of the financial service and personal loans industry.
- Influencing skills.
- Literacy and numeracy skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
