Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the marketing expert and primary Point of Contact for all marketing-related discussions with clients and internal partners across the SSA region, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Consolidate regional insights to develop and update category plans with a clear vision, managing tailored marketing strategies by country and category for all SSA clients, while ensuring alignment with global and regional strategies.
- Identify new market opportunities through competitive intelligence and marketing tools, translating findings into innovative solutions within sweet goods, beverages, and savory segments to drive growth.
- Proactively analyze categories and map white spaces to uncover innovation opportunities, collaborating with the commercial team and SSA clients to implement solutions via presentations, innovation days, and face-to-face meetings, contributing to revenue growth.
- Lead the continuous update and upgrade of country marketing tools, ensuring alignment with global standards, while supporting regional and global marketing teams by sharing information, best practices, and inspiring the network.
- Build strong partnerships with segment and category teams, development, sales, and technical teams to design and execute segment- and solution-led tactical campaigns and external marketing promotions in collaboration with advertisers.

- A degree in Marketing or a related field, with relevant experience in lieu of formal qualifications, is also considered.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years’ marketing experience within the FMCG, chemical, or fragrance industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and confidence in using computer presentation tools.
- Strong organizational, planning, and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a solid commercial understanding.
- A creative, adaptable mindset with a flair for innovation, and experience in design software is a plus.
