As a Operational Compliance Specialist you’ll be supporting the delivery of superior compliance support to the business, covering investigation and correction of all compliance related issues. This will help us excel at ensuring the Super Group is compliant with all regulations to stay ahead of the game.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and investigating compliance concerns across licensees and providing possible solutions.
  • Understanding and managing market regulations from a compliance perspective
  • Investigate, understand, monitor & communicate possible breaches
  • Staying abreast of any regulatory changes to ensure daily monitoring is relevant and up to date.
  • Management of exception reporting and all internal compliance reports as and when required.
  • Stake holder management – Regularly communicate and feedback to Compliance, PPO and MLRO
  • Review and action internal escalations
    • Departments throughout the business escalate compliance concerns to OCT
    • Action and complete all escalations received ensuring regulation is adhered to.
  • Complete Legal data requests
    • The Supergroup Legal team forward data requests from our lawyers to OCT.
    • Gather all data needed by the legal team in correct format.
  • Maintain healthy business relationships between banking processors and Supergroup
    • Processors reach out to OCT with any compliance concerns
    • Investigate accounts flagged by processors and ensure data shared according to GDPR

Essential Skills You’ll Bring To The Table

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

  • Degree / diploma in any of the following : Risk Management, Governance, Compliance, Legal, Social Sciences, or any relevant degree or diploma
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations
  • Intrinsic motivated – Naturally pushing to find solutions, able to identify issues and use initiative to commence fixing them.
  • Minimum 6 months experience from a Risk and Fraud or Compliance / iGaming department.

Desirable Skills You’ve Got Up Your Sleeve

It would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends
  • Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations
  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards
  • Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, graphs and formulas.
  • Experience in generating & compiling reports and the ability to interpret complex operational data
  • Knowledge of Basic Operational touch points in terms of CSC/Risk/Payments processes.
  • Ability to align business goals to compliance requirements
