As a Global Planner, you will play a critical role in strategic resource allocation, optimization and capacity planning within our organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing global supply planning strategies to optimize the utilization of resources, meet customer demand, and support the achievement of business objectives. Your expertise in supply chain management, demand forecasting, and capacity planning will be essential in coordinating and aligning planning activities across multiple locations and time frames.

As a Global Planner, you will play a critical role in strategic resource allocation, optimization and capacity planning within our organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing global supply planning strategies to optimize the utilization of resources, meet customer demand, and support the achievement of business objectives. Your expertise in supply chain management, demand forecasting, and capacity planning will be essential in coordinating and aligning planning activities across multiple locations and timeframes.

Global Planners will be assigned by product segment and be responsible for identification and clear articulation of global demand, supply, capacity and inventory requirements, constraints, mitigation & optimization plans defined and confirmed through the S&OP process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage global supply planning strategies to optimize supply chain costs, capital and reliability while considering customer demand and production capacity.
• Lead cross-functional teams to gather data and execute supply planning strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize inventory, capacity, and resource utilization across locations.
• Lead and/or manage implementation of supply optimization initiatives across multiple sites & the global supply chain.
• Manage supply chain development and activation for new molecules or new sites
• Lead supply chain taskforce coordinating all activity internal and external to facilitate required supply to ALAM
• Drive and replicate supply chain operational excellence and best practices across multiple sites.
  
  

Are you a MATCH?

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• 3-5 yrs (7-10+ yrs) proven experience in global planning, supply chain management, or related roles within a complex manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze large datasets and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
