As a Project Administrator, you will:
Provide administrative and operational support to Project Managers and teams.
Maintain and update project documentation including plans, reports, logs (issues, risks, dependencies), meeting minutes, and stakeholder engagement records.
Assist in tracking project budgets, compiling financial reports, managing invoicing, and resolving queries.
Support project lifecycle activities, ensuring adherence to governance, change control, configuration management, and service management protocols.
Optimize usage of project tools (e.g., PPO, Excel, JIRA, MS Project) and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the PMO.
Coordinate meetings, scheduling, diary management, and requests related to hardware/software/stationery for projects.
Collaborate continuously with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
Education requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) required
Accredited project administration or coordination courses (Diploma in Project Management is advantageous)
Experience requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in project administration, preferably within IT/software development projects
Technical skills requirements:
Strong knowledge of project lifecycles and methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid)
Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and JIRA
Experience using Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools (e.g., PPO) is highly beneficial
Between 1 - 3 Years
