To provide administration support to the Human Resources department.


Education (formal qualification requirements) – minimum

Certificate / Diploma


Education (formal qualification requirements) – ideal

Qualification in Human Resources


Legal Requirements

Clean credit and criminal record

Position Description


Recruitment and Selection

  • Receives and acknowledges receipt of all applications for advertised vacancies.
  • Forwards job descriptions and specifications to applicants where required.
  • Maintains a filing system of all applications received (e-filing and / or paper-based).
  • Lists the Curriculum Vitae (CV's) of all applicants on a spreadsheet for short listing.
  • Drafts and despatches standard letters of regret to unsuccessful applicants.
  • Updates staff lists on a regular basis.
  • Prepares payroll reminders for Line Managers.

Payroll Administration

  • Captures all input onto the VIP Payroll system.
  • Prepares documentation for submission to Group Human Resources.
  • Makes copies of all payroll documentation for upkeep of the personnel filing system.
  • Check Time & attendance records against captured leave records on APS.

Leave Administration

  • Follow up with line managers to ensure all leave is captured accurately on APS.
  • Maintains the administration of personnel records for all staff (present and past) with regards to the period employed, training interventions and staff movement.

General Administration

  • Prepares reminders for Line Managers regarding Probation Assessments.
