Reporting to the OD and Digital Learning Team Lead, the Organisational Development Administrator assists the Organisational Development team with various activities and projects.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
New Starter Induction
- Coordinate and manage the logistics of the new starter inductions, including scheduling sessions, booking venues, preparing new starter packs, and ensuring clear communication with all relevant stakeholders to deliver a smooth and engaging onboarding experience.
- Assist with OD initiatives such as job shadowing, open days, wellness week, team builds and other ad hoc events.
- Assist team members in logging and managing tickets as required.
- Adhoc requests to assist the OD team.
- The OD Administrator ensures the purchase requisitions are correctly raised with relevant, brand, region and departments to ensure accurate accounting & segmented reporting
- Review, process, and track purchase orders
- Coordinate with finance and vendors to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Monitor open purchase orders and reconcile with invoices.
- Ensure no delays in processing and or approval process
- Credit Card Recon
- This role is responsible for collecting data to measure the impact of organisational development interventions, identifying areas for improvement, and making data-driven recommendations to organisational development team.
- Collecting training evaluation data, such as post-training surveys or assessments, to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement is a further responsibility of this role.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Support internal and external audits for Training and Development as needed
- Ensure accurate and timeous SETA Submission, including the WSP and ATR.
- Maintain accurate and compliant financial records relating to Training and Development
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including attendance, completion certificates, and training materials.
- This Organisational Development Administrator assists the Organisational Development team with their various learning and development interventions.
- Assists team members in planning, scheduling and coordination of training programs and workshops using Workday.
- Assist team members in managing logistical aspects of of training events, including booking venues, coordinating travel arrangements, preparing training materials and ensuring technical requirements are met.
- Capture attendance records
- Track training and development of employees
- Liaise with employees and manage their queries regarding learning.
- Administering the learning management system, including user management, course assignments, tracking progress, and generating reports is a responsibility of this role.
- Coordinating training communications, including scheduling announcements, invitations, and reminders to participants, and providing pre- and post-training support is a responsibility of the Organisational Development Administrator
- The OD Administrator collaborates with business and human resources to gain support for organisational development initiatives, ensure alignment, and facilitate effective communication and change implementation.
- Identifying opportunities for enhancing training processes, tools, and resources, and making recommendations for continuous improvement in learning and development practices is a responsibility of this role.

The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
- Proven computer literacy MS office (Strong Excel Skills
- Strong attention to detail, planning and organisational skills
- Be able to meet deadlines in a highly pressurised dynamic environment
- Strong numeracy skills
- Previous training administration
- Liaison with SETA’s; and familiarity with the SDA, NQF and all related legislation is required
