Job Description,

Reporting to the Group Executive: Mutuality, this role will be accountable for leading and managing the value- added service for ancillary benefits & bespoke value propositions to support this strategic intent for PPS.

Responsible to define, develop and drive compelling member value propositions that deepen engagement, enhance satisfaction, and fuel sustainable membership growth.

The role will integrates strategic insight, market research, and product innovation to ensure the organisation delivers value that is relevant, differentiated, and commercially viable.

, Requirements,

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Strategy or related field (MBA preferred)

Experience

  • 8+ years experience in marketing, product strategy or customer value development
  • Proven experience in designing and executing member/customer value propositions
  • Strong leadership experience in cross-functional environments
  • Background in insurance, financial services, or member-based organisations is advantageous

Knowledge And Skills

  • In depth knowledge of customer reward programs and commercial activities.
  • Customer strategy, customer value propositions, financial management within the financial industry
  • The ability to evaluate and redirect the value proposition, and business strategy aimed at conceptualizing a desired future state that promotes the organisation.

, Duties and Responsibilities,

Strategy & Proposition Development

  • Develop the overarching member value proposition strategy, aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify and articulate differentiated value offers for new and existing segments.
  • Collaborate with product, brand, and digital teams to embed propositions across touchpoints.

Growth & Retention

  • Lead strategies to acquire new members and increase share of wallet from existing ones.
  • Monitor and optimize member lifecycle performance, ensuring value delivery at key stages.
  • Drive cross-functional growth initiatives in partnership with digital, sales, and service.

Risk Management

  • Formulate a strategy to cater for Record Management and business continuity that adhere to compliance and cater for business continuity.
  • Manage Commercial Agreements in terms of Data Privacy and CPA to ensure protection of PPS integrity.

Insights & Innovation

  • Commission and analyse member research to identify evolving needs, motivations, and preferences.
  • Translate insights into new product and benefit opportunities.
  • Ensure the voice of the member shapes organisational priorities and innovations.

Stakeholder Management.

  • Develop and manage an engagement framework with internal and external entities in building and developing PPS partnership opportunities to broker commercial terms for collaboration, delivery facilitation, continuous market presence and to maintain mutually beneficial relationships after successful implementation serving as a single point of entry.

Commercialization

  • Manage overall market and customer campaigns and initiatives planned by PPS through the cycle of development, implementation, measurement and reporting.
  • Identify all marketing opportunities at associates, including websites, newsletters, broadsheet and distribution alignment and marketing channels to educate and enhance brand value.

People Management and Culture

  • Optimize human capital by continuously driving higher performance of productivity and conducive interpersonal environment.
  • Coach team members and stakeholders on all the processes and controls to execute in their daily work and ensure they understand the reasons for the controls and consequences for failing to adhere to prescribed processes.
