Job Summary

The SAP Finance Functional Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP financial solutions to meet business needs. This role acts as a liaison between finance stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment of SAP functionalities with financial processes and organizational goals. The Lead will manage finance-related projects and promote seamless integration of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Implementation: Design and configure SAP FI and CO modules, ensuring integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Business Process Optimization: Analyze financial processes, recommend SAP-enabled improvements, and automate manual tasks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact between finance and technical teams, gathering requirements and managing expectations.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of consultants, providing mentorship and ensuring quality delivery of solutions.
• Training & Support: Create training materials, conduct workshops, and provide post-implementation support.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation and develop reports for monitoring financial performance and system effectiveness.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure SAP solutions adhere to financial regulations and implement controls for data integrity.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and support.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP PS implementation and support.
• Experience with at least 3 full lifecycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with financial reporting tools, SAP Solution Manager, and data migration methodologies.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP certifications in relevant finance modules.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities and financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of financial integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and mining industry experience.
