Job Description

Purpose of the Job:
To drive sales and achieve revenue targets for the company's products in the region, while managing a sales and merchandising team.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage expenses within the budget and report on the performance of the region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets in the region.
  • Manage the sales and merchandising service provider teams within the region and ensure that they achieve business targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key accounts, and distributors in the region.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights on customer needs, trends, and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure alignment on business objectives and priorities.

Qualification Requirements


  • Grade 12/Matric
  • Business management and or sales qualification

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in FMCG sales, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • 2-3 years’ Experience in managing sales teams and driving team performance.
