RESPONSIBILITIES:You will be responsible for
Qualifications and Experience, Skills &Competencies
- Workwith management on corrective deviations and lead CPAR meetings and reporting.
- Supervisionof Quality Controllers.
- Ensure100% hygiene compliance for the entire unit.
- Ensurefull preparation and presence for internal audits
- Ensurethat all supplier audits are done timeously
- Preparationfor all external audits, including clients’.
- Ensurethat all training and verification of all production, receiving, dispatch,cleaning, dishroom and admin staff is done.
- Ensurethat the relevant Toolbox Talks are conducted
- EnsureInduction training for all new personnel is done, work with the HR department
- Ensureeffective Customer complaint investigation and response.
- Maintainquality manual and update where necessary.
- Assistwith all ISO certification processes.
- Dealwith any quality, food safety and hygiene related non-conformances.
- Compileand follow-up on supplier complaints.
- Assistwith the management of pest control program.
- Managementof all equipment external calibration.
- Maintenanceof chemical and first aid stock.
- Coordinationand attendance of all chef’s tables.
- Monitoringof FIFO&FEFO practices and monitoring of expired stock.
- Overseeall quality checks (Supplier product analysis, fridge checks, specificationadherence checks, portion controls, traceability mock recall, etc.)
- Overseeall food safety and hygiene practices, as well as the efficiency thereofthrough micro sampling.
- Overseeall CCP procedures and documentation as well as HACCP electronic processes andprocedures.
- Ensureall training is carried out effectively
- Ensurethat a weekly report is sent to JNB on activities in CPT
- Ensuretimeous QHSE & CSR as required.
- Monitorand maintain glass and foreign object control.
- Mustbe involved in First Aid.
- Maintainproper segregation of Halaal, Kosher and Western staff and equipment.
- Preparationof staff roster (QC) and duties.
- Ensurecompliance with customer specifications, quality standards, HACCP principles,Occupational Health and Safety principles, Environmental and other regulations.
- Mustprepare audit reports for every external audits within 48 hours; and
- Ensurethat Micro swabbing and sampling is done
- Mustbe fully aware of Allergen identification
- Ensurethat all allergen’s are declared accordingly
- Anyother reasonable task that may be required by management
Qualifications and Experience, Skills &Competencies
- B Degree or National Diploma inFood Technology
- Certification in ISO9001 & 22000
- HACCP Knowledge
- Full Competent in MicrosoftOffice
- 3 Years’ Experience
- Communication
