As an Area Sales Manager at L'Oréal CPD, you’ll be at the forefront of bringing our iconic consumer brands to life within a dynamic and competitive market. We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our team across these specific divisions:
- You will motivate and manage a portfolio of customers within a specific geographic area, driving sales of our most accessible brands and building lasting relationships. Your expertise will help customers develop their businesses through sales strategies, merchandising excellence, and technical support.
- As a brand ambassador, you will manage and develop key accounts within your designated territory, driving sales of our prestigious brands, ensuring brand image compliance, and implementing strategic initiatives to exceed targets.
A Day in the Life:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators, contributing to the overall success of L'Oréal CPD.
- Working closely with 3rd party sales and merchandising agencies and driving expectations with them.
- Build strong relationships with existing and new stores from major retailers – cultivating loyalty and driving growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, education, and sales support, to execute impactful consumer campaigns.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor intelligence, and stay informed about industry trends within the consumer beauty landscape.
- Working closely with cosmetics consultants to achieve and exceed targets and providing excellent customer experience.
- Working with products by ensuring orders are done, gaps are checked, planograms have been implemented and all secondary displays are implemented and merchandised.
Professional & Technical Competencies:
- Commercial Acumen: A deep understanding of consumer sales drivers, market dynamics, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Customer Focus: Passionate about building and nurturing strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional service.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, present with impact, and influence decision-making.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales or marketing role within the consumer goods or retail industry.
- Basic Microsoft office experience with fundamental excel knowledge.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a strong understanding of consumer market trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Attention to detail driven individual who excels in making sure basics are in place.
- Ability to work independently
- Organisational skills
- Valid driver’s licence
