You’ll be the face behind the seamless execution of all government and corporate functions – from initial enquiry through to event day. This position requires someone who can juggle multiple bookings while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities include responding to and following up on enquiries, preparing proposals and contracts, conducting site inspections, and coordinating logistics with the hotel’s operations team. You will work closely with both corporate clients and government representatives, so strong administrative accuracy and professional communication skills are a must.
We’re looking for someone local to the Umhlanga area, with a strong knowledge of the local hospitality landscape and a flair for coordination and client service.
Remuneration: Market-related, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
2–3 years’ experience in banqueting, events coordination, or hotel sales
Exposure to working with government or corporate clients essential
Confident communicator with strong admin and planning skills
Professional, organised, and service-oriented
Able to multitask and manage deadlines
Own transport and knowledge of the Umhlanga area preferred
Between 1 - 3 Years
