We are a new-media content agency that specializes specifically in YouTube post-production, helping our global clientele build their social media presence through visual storytelling & video strategy.

Since opening in 2020 we've been slowly working towards a particular vision that can be summed up in three main ideas:

We’re Looking For

Collaborative, knowledgeable, and reliable with a real passion for visual storytelling.

Team player with highly developed communication, interpersonal and technical skills.

Understands new media, especially YouTube and how to craft YouTube-centered stories that resonate with audiences.

Highly creative, has a great eye for detail and aesthetics and is able to adapt to change.

The ability to be receptive to direction from our clients and our creative team.

Solutions driven and realistic when it comes to deadlines and what is achievable within time limits.

Participate in team meetings, brainstorms and offer creative solutions and ideas for improving our content.

Communicate clearly and early, whenever timings on jobs need to be adjusted.

Strong work ethic, always taking their work seriously and devoting their working hours to going above and beyond what's required of them.

Technically:

• Familiarity with Adobe Suite, especially Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Ability to understand and find great story beats in the middle of a lot of footage
• Great understanding of the principles around composition, typography, visual hierarchy, pacing, show don't tell, sound design, tone and rhythm.

Experience with YouTube content and new media editing generally is a big +

The Role

Overview: You will be editing long-form content projects such as YouTube Documentary projects, vlogs, talking-head videos as well as short-form videos as needed.

Includes:

• Weekly team meetings to collaborate and share ideas and give project updates.
• Communicate with clients and handle project discussions with our clients.
• Managing projects, leading and engaging in creative feedback meetings and discussions.
• Complex and time-sensitive long and short-form video projects like these.

Location

To start, this will be an online-only position with a view to either a hybrid or fully in-person position in the Randburg area.
