Product Design Technician (Mechanical/Components)

Our client seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Design Technician to support the design and development of mechanical products and components through accurate technical drawings, and practical problem-solving.

The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical design principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks and projects from concept through to completion while supporting production and quality requirements.

Must be proficient in mechanical drawing and design both 2D and 3D with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. The ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision with an understanding of production quality systems and new product development processes.

A national diploma in mechanical engineering and/or a relevant trade test would be an advantage.
