A leading secure payments solutions and aggregator based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is looking to hire a self-motivated, meticulous Junior Accountant to add to their team.
 
This is an on-site position, applicants based in Stellenbosch/Western Cape are encouraged to apply.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all duties related to financial accounting, including the collection, processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of financial data. Your tasks include maintaining complete and proper records of revenue, expenditure, assets and liabilities and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
 
Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Capturing source data
• Assist with accounting until trial balance
• Preparing reconciliation of accounting record to the third party statements
• Free invoice generation
• Assist with debtors, creditors and monthly reports
• All other tasks related to the role

Education:

• Completed BCom in Accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Completed SAIPA/CIMA articles beneficial
• Minimum of 2 years in a financial processing role
• Financial/Payments industry experience highly advantageous
• Strong Advanced Excel skills
• Attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Team player
• Deadline driven
• Effectively works under pressure
