As the Payroll Manager, you will lead our payroll department, managing all aspects of payroll operations and systems. Your role will be crucial in ensuring all our employees are paid correctly, on time, and in compliance with company policies and South African regulations. Your experience in the logistics industry will provide valuable insights into sector-specific challenges and needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Manager, ideally within the logistics or similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of South African payroll regulations and requirements.
• Experience with payroll software and systems, with a high proficiency in Excel.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of the monthly payroll for employees across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory law and financial regulations related to payroll operations.
• Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency.
• Manage and resolve any payroll discrepancies or queries from employees.
• Lead, mentor, and expand the payroll team to support business growth.
• Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure coordination and compliance.
• Provide regular payroll reports to management for review.
• Stay updated on new tax laws and compliance requirements.
