As an Accountant with logistics experience, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial records, including expenditures, payroll, budgeting, and invoicing. Additionally, your insights into logistics processes will be invaluable in optimizing our cost structure and enhancing financial performance.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial transactions, including payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and reports to help improve our operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with the logistics department to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
• Assist in financial forecasting and risk analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Completed SAIPA articles
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with specific experience in logistics or a related industry.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
