Duties:
Ensure that the company is registered as a local supplier on all vendor lists of the mining and industrial clients in the Steelpoort/ Burgersfort (Limpopo) local area.
Actively promote the sale of company services to new and existing customers
Represent the company as a local supplier of Diesel/Motor Engineering and Field services in Limpopo.
Support company products, divisions, and distributors to improve sales of company products in the area.
Service mining and construction sectors. Focusing on Diesel Engines/Motor Engineering and Truck Re-build.
Reporting:
Report leads, tenders and quoting opportunities to the Branch manager and the Group Operational manager
Submit weekly records of client meetings.
Maintain and update customer data base, in conjunction with the Proposals area.
Obtain information on competitor’s products and services, pricing policies and business strategies, reporting finding to the relevant
Weekly sales leads reports, related administrative functions. Ability to travel long distances and out of town travelling.
Matric (Grade 12)
Target Driven
A recognised technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol + Field Service) will be an advantage.
Suitable applicants must have technical mining sales background and be at ease with earthmoving equipment or Mining Machinery (TM3). At least 3 - 5 years Technical Sales in Mining & Construction. (Must have Mining sales background)
Computer literacy – good general computer knowledge and experience in Windows, MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
A legal driver’s licence.
Must be a resident in the Limpopo area (Steelpoort, Burgersfort, Lydenburg).
Committed to establishing and developing close business relationships with potential clients, afterhours when necessary.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, as well as Afrikaans.
Between 3 - 5 Years
