SUMMARY

Our client, based in Centurion, is looking to appoint a Training Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing operational activities related to training delivery and learning programmes within the organisation.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Manage day-to-day operational activities related to training delivery and learning programmes.
  • Support the development and implementation of annual training plans and schedules.
  • Monitor operational performance, including participation, certification outcomes, and training effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
  • Support innovation and the implementation of modern learning methodologies.

People Management

  • Lead and support operational teams to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and development support to team members.
  • Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Provide operational input into planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in meetings and provide operational updates when required.

Financial and Reporting

  • Support monitoring of operational budgets and financial performance in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Contribute to reporting and analysis of operational performance and training outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Education.
  • Postgraduate or professional certifications in Business Administration, Learning & Development, or Project Management are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of training operations, curriculum development, and people management.

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Learning & Development, assessment, or curriculum development
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role
