SUMMARY
Our client, based in Centurion, is looking to appoint a Training Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing operational activities related to training delivery and learning programmes within the organisation.
POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day operational activities related to training delivery and learning programmes.
- Support the development and implementation of annual training plans and schedules.
- Monitor operational performance, including participation, certification outcomes, and training effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
- Support innovation and the implementation of modern learning methodologies.
People Management
- Lead and support operational teams to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development support to team members.
- Manage employee performance reviews and development plans.
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure training objectives are met.
- Provide operational input into planning, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in meetings and provide operational updates when required.
Financial and Reporting
- Support monitoring of operational budgets and financial performance in collaboration with the finance team.
- Contribute to reporting and analysis of operational performance and training outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or Education.
- Postgraduate or professional certifications in Business Administration, Learning & Development, or Project Management are advantageous.
- Demonstrated knowledge of training operations, curriculum development, and people management.
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive industry
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in Learning & Development, assessment, or curriculum development
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management role
