You will be responsible for driving sales of pump solutions, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining relationships with key clients in the water treatment industry. The role requires a strong balance between technical expertise and commercial acumen, working closely with engineers, plant managers, and project teams.
Education
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Job Experience & Skills Required
Minimum 5 years’ experience in pump sales or related technical sales
Proven experience in the water treatment or wastewater industry
Strong knowledge of pump systems, fluid handling, and related equipment
Ability to identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts
Experience with quotations, tenders, and solution-based selling
Strong client liaison and relationship management skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within KZN
