SUMMARY
Our client based in Gqeberha is looking to appoint a highly skilled HR Consultant with solid experience in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.

Job Description And Requirements
Human Resources (HR):
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures for company and clients.
- Advise on talent acquisition, performance management, and employee engagement strategies for company and clients.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR best practices for company and clients.
- Facilitate training and development programs for company and clients.
Industrial Relations (IR):
- Provide expert guidance on labour legislation, disciplinary processes, and dispute resolution.
- Assist with CCMA cases, grievances, and workplace conflict resolution.
- Draft employment contracts and policies in line with labour laws.
- Support management and clients in union negotiations and collective bargaining.
BBBEE Compliance & Advisory:
- Develop and implement BBBEE strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct BBBEE audits and advise on compliance with sector charters.
- Guide businesses in achieving higher BBBEE scorecard ratings.
Employment Equity (EE) Compliance:
- Facilitate the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company’s EE plan in line with the Employment Equity Act.
- Coordinate EE Committee meetings and consultations.
- Prepare and submit annual EE reports to the Department of Employment and Labour.
Skills Development (SD) Compliance:
- Coordinate training and development initiatives aligned to the Workplace Skills Plan (WSP).
- Manage the compilation and submission of WSP and Annual Training Reports (ATR) to the relevant SETA.
- Identify skills gaps and facilitate employee development interventions.
- Apply for discretionary grants and manage SETA-related processes.
POPIA Compliance
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
- Act as the HR representative in matters relating to personal information processing.
- Conduct awareness sessions for employees on data protection.
Minimum requirements
- Valid drivers licence and own vehicle
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Willing to travel out of town
- HR qualification advantageous but not compulsory
