JOB TITLE: Cardiac Physiologist

LOCATION: Pretoria, Gauteng (Head Office)

SALARY: R35 000 – R45 000 per month

REPORTING TO: Senior Cardiac Physiologist & Team Lead

Our client in the healthcare technology sector is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Physiologist to join their Finance Department support structure and diagnostic services team at their Head Office in Pretoria.

The Cardiac Physiologist will be responsible for reviewing ECG data, compiling diagnostic reports, and communicating findings to healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will ensure accurate reporting, maintain high clinical standards, and support seamless patient care pathways through efficient diagnostic services.

BTech / BSc in Cardiac Clinical Technology or equivalent qualification

Valid HPCSA registration as a Cardiac Clinical Technologist

CPD points up to date

Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience as a Cardiac Clinical Technologist

Review preliminary ECG results, including resting, short-term and long-term ECG data generated by AI

Compile accurate, comprehensive and high-quality diagnostic reports

Edit and complete reports within acceptable turnaround times

Forward completed reports via the Vertice Lynx Portal to healthcare professionals

Escalate significant findings to treating healthcare professionals

Identify and troubleshoot product, system or software issues where required

Prepare detailed reports for patient medical records

Communicate test results effectively to healthcare professionals

Collaborate with colleagues to support seamless patient care pathways

Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and practices

Support onboarding of new practices for diagnostic services

Submit monthly reports to management

Adhere to applicable ISO requirements
