SUMMARY

We are currently looking for an Injection Moulder Operator who will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production of quality plastic products in accordance with company standards, production targets, and safety requirements.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
• Previous experience operating injection moulding machines preferred.
• Experience in a plastics or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of quality control processes.
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays if required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to identify defects and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and production output.
• Perform basic machine setup and start-up procedures.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Identify and report product defects, machine faults, or production issues.
• Trim, assemble, pack, and label products where required.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas according to housekeeping standards.
• Complete production records and reporting documentation accurately.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist with mould changes and material loading when required.
• Minimise material wastage and downtime during production.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality, and production teams.
• Exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.
