SUMMARY

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and sustainability-focused organisation seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their growing technical team.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements

  • BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professionally Registered Engineer (Pr. Eng) with ECSA
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in electrical engineering projects
  • Strong experience in industrial, infrastructure, energy, or utility-related projects
  • Proficient in electrical design, commissioning, and project execution
  • Knowledge of relevant South African codes and standards
  • Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical engineering solutions for projects
  • Prepare technical specifications, reports, and design documentation
  • Conduct site inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting
  • Ensure compliance with ECSA standards and applicable regulations
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and technical deliverables
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with LV/MV systems and power distribution
  • Exposure to renewable energy or sustainable engineering projects advantageous
  • Proficiency in engineering software and simulation tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
