SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager who knows the difference between “just another quote” and a real opportunity — and more importantly, knows how to turn the first into the second. This role is for someone who’s comfortable in the logistics world, enjoys being out with clients, and doesn’t mind a bit of hustle, follow-ups, and the occasional “can you just check the rate quickly?” that turns into a full-on deal.

It’s a hands-on role in the Eastern Cape where relationships matter, timing matters, and being commercially switched-on makes all the difference. If you enjoy the chase of new business, building proper client partnerships, and actually seeing your deals move from conversation to cargo — you’ll feel right at home here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Promote end-to-end logistics and transport solutions
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in logistics / freight sales
  • Proven new business development track record
  • Strong knowledge of road freight and warehousing
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
