SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team in the Eastern Cape. This role is suited to a detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-driven professional with a passion for improving business processes and delivering impactful technology solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting the delivery of efficient, customer-centric solutions within a dynamic environment.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
• Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to identify business needs and process improvements
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement gathering sessions
• Assist with process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design
• Support testing, implementation, and change management activities
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful project delivery
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and continuous improvement
• Maintain clear and accurate project and business documentation

Requirements:

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst
• Relevant qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, IT, or a related field
• Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis
• Experience with requirement gathering methodologies and documentation
• Exposure to Agile and/or Scrum environments advantageous
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with process mapping and workflow analysis
