POSITION INFO
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's goals of creating a holding company structure and acquiring additional businesses.
- M&A Leadership: Lead the process of identifying, evaluating, and integrating potential acquisitions to enhance the company's service offerings and market presence.
- Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and ensure the availability of funds for acquisitions, investments, and operational needs.
- Data-Led Decision Making: Lead the data analytics team to identify, evaluate, and communicate data-driven insights to the operational team, leveraging the company's market-leading position.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the company's expansion and acquisition strategies.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a proven track record of financial leadership and strategic decision-making (minimum 5 years of experience post audit).
- Experience in a decentralised holding company or similar environment, with a strong understanding of acquisition strategies and integration processes.
- Demonstrated success in managing cash flow and financial risk in a dynamic business environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Experience with annuity revenue is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and adapt to new business models is essential.
