SUMMARY

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join a well-established company within the pet industry. This role suits a driven and relationship-focused individual who can manage existing accounts, grow new business, and ensure excellent in-store execution across their customer base.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve Year-To-Date (YTD) sales budget targets while managing orders to ensure timely delivery and maintaining appropriate product service levels in stores.
• Ensure the correct product range is listed and displayed according to customer segments, influencing listings through an understanding of store-specific needs and consumer demand.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities while building and maintaining strong customer relationships to support long-term growth.
• Maintain professional and consistent communication with store personnel, including conducting in-store promotions and product training where required.
• Complete all call cycles, reports, CRM updates, and related administration accurately and timeously, including the submission of weekly sales reports, customer feedback, and expense claims.
• Operate within allocated budgets for travel, promotions, samples, and related expenses, ensuring cost-effective management of all sales activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ sales experience, preferably within the pet industry, FMCG, or Wholesale Sales
• Tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems.

Remuneration

R20 000 - R25 000 ( CTC)
