POSITION INFO

A well-established organisation is seeking an experienced

Revenue Assurance Manager (Admin Manager) to protect and enhance revenue through strong billing governance, pricing controls, and contract assurance. This role plays a critical part in identifying and eliminating revenue leakage, enforcing contractual pricing structures (including annual escalations), and ensuring full alignment between service delivery, contracts, and financial reporting.

The Revenue Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all billable services and products are accurately billed, recorded, and collected. The role focuses on strengthening revenue integrity, managing pricing governance, and driving process improvements to ensure sustainable revenue protection and recovery.

Revenue Assurance & Billing Accuracy

  • Ensure all services and products are invoiced accurately in line with customer contracts and pricing structures
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve revenue leakage, under-billing, over-billing, and unbilled services
  • Perform reconciliations between service delivery records, billing systems, and the general ledger
  • Review and approve billing adjustments, credits, discounts, and pricing changes in line with governance controls
  • Monitor billing cycles to ensure invoices are complete, accurate, and issued on time

Annual Increases & Pricing Governance

  • Manage and enforce annual price increases aligned to contractual escalation clauses (CPI, fixed %, anniversary-based)
  • Maintain an accurate schedule of contract anniversaries and escalation dates
  • Ensure all approved increases are correctly configured within billing systems
  • Validate escalation calculations and perform post-implementation accuracy checks
  • Partner with Sales, Legal, and Finance to ensure escalation terms are clearly defined and consistently applied
  • Support customer communication and queries related to pricing changes
  • Identify missed or incorrectly applied increases and quantify revenue recovery opportunities

Contract & Commercial Assurance

  • Review customer contracts to ensure correct interpretation of pricing and billing terms
  • Ensure renewals, amendments, and contract changes are accurately implemented in billing platforms
  • Support dispute resolution relating to billing, pricing, and contract compliance

Controls, Processes & Risk Management

  • Design and maintain revenue assurance controls, policies, and procedures
  • Perform root-cause analysis on billing and pricing failures
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure alignment between services delivered and revenue billed
  • Support internal and external audits relating to revenue and pricing compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen revenue integrity

Reporting To: Group Financial Officer / Financial Executive

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Produce regular revenue assurance and pricing compliance reports for executive management
  • Highlight risks, missed escalations, revenue leakage trends, and recovery opportunities
  • Act as the escalation point for complex revenue, billing, and pricing issues

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Reduction in revenue leakage and missed annual increases
  • Accuracy and timeliness of billing and price escalations
  • Successful implementation rate of contractual annual increases
  • Value of recovered or protected revenue
  • Audit outcomes relating to revenue and pricing compliance

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
  • 8+ years’ experience in revenue assurance, billing, pricing, or commercial finance
  • Proven experience managing contractual price escalations and annual increases
  • Strong experience with reconciliations, ERP systems, and billing platforms
