Make a Difference Behind the Systems That Support Doctors
Are you an experienced iMIS professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and supporting
users in a purpose-driven environment?
The Australian Salaried Medical Officers’ Federation (NSW) (The Doctors’ Union) is seeking an iMIS
Administrator to take ownership of its core membership and business systems. This is a hands-on role
where you’ll play a key part in ensuring the systems that support doctors across NSW are reliable, effective,
and continually improving.
Owning And Supporting IMIS
Managing day-to-day administration, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the platform runs smoothly
across the organisation.
Improving Systems And Processes
Identifying opportunities to improve workflows, data quality, reporting, and how the system is used by
internal teams.
Supporting Users And Stakeholders
Working closely with staff across the organisation to resolve issues, provide guidance, and improve system
adoption.
Maintaining Data Integrity And Reporting
Ensuring accurate, reliable data while supporting reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
Working With External Partners
Liaising with system vendors and support providers on escalations, enhancements, and technical solutions.
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Have
- Proven experience working with iMIS in an administrative or support capacity
- Confidence troubleshooting issues and managing system requests end-to-end
- Strong data handling skills, including data quality, imports, and updates
- Experience supporting reporting and working with business data
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a practical, service-oriented approach
- Confidence working with both non-technical users and technical stakeholders
Highly Regarded
- Power BI or reporting/dashboarding experience
- SQL Server or broader data/query capability
- Experience in a membership, association, union or not-for-profit environment
- Experience improving processes, documentation, or user training
- Exposure to website, CMS, or system integrations
We Offer
- A salary in the range of $94,521 – $117,745 + superannuation, depending on experience
