Project Manager

Lumico

Are you a professional plate-spinner. Deadline whisperer. Human buffer between chaos and creativity. We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Stellenbosch team!

At

Lumico, we make bold work for bold brands. Which means things move fast, clients change their minds at 4:57pm, and someone somewhere is always asking, “Just a quick tweak?”

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Project Manager who can keep projects moving, teams aligned, clients calm, and timelines alive. Someone who thrives in organised chaos, communicates like a pro, and can spot a project risk before it becomes a client voice note.

You’ll be the connective tissue between clients, creatives, strategists, and production teams, translating ideas into action and making sure the work gets out the door beautifully and on time.

No pressure.

What you’ll actually do

Keep the wheels turning

  • Capture briefs from clients, internal teams, and management without losing important details in translation.
  • Turn messy thoughts into clear, actionable briefs the team can actually work from.
  • Set up and manage projects in Wrike and other internal platforms.
  • Track timelines, deliverables, approvals, budgets, dependencies, and all the other fun grown-up stuff.
  • Flag risks early. Not when the deadline is already on fire.
  • Keep projects moving efficiently from kick-off to close-out.
  • Build contingency plans because “hopefully it works out” is not a strategy.

Manage clients like a seasoned diplomat

    • Be the main point of contact between clients and the internal team.
    • Handle feedback loops without causing emotional damage to creatives.
    • Respond quickly, professionally, and calmly, even when the client sends “???” on email.
    • Build strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and solid delivery.

    Keep communication crystal clear

    • Provide status updates and project reports.
    • Ensure everyone knows what’s happening, when it’s happening, and who’s responsible for making it happen.
    • Prevent the classic “I thought someone else was doing it” situation.

    Be part of the team

    • Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, and production.
    • Share ideas, solve problems, and support the team.
    • Stay curious and open to learning.
    • Take ownership. Follow through. Care about the details.

You’ll probably thrive here if you

    • Love structure but can survive unpredictability.
    • Enjoy working with creative people, even when they answer emails with “vibes”.
    • Are proactive, organised, and ridiculously detail-oriented.
    • Can juggle multiple projects without dropping the important ones.
    • Know how to communicate clearly with both clients and internal teams.
    • Understand that diplomacy is sometimes more valuable than caffeine.

    Bonus points if you

    • Have agency experience.
    • Know your way around Wrike or similar project management platforms.
    • Can write a timeline that people actually follow.
    • Have mastered the art of polite persistence.

    Important stuff

    • This is a client-facing role.
    • You’ll report to the Head of Creative.
    • You won’t have direct reports.
    • You will, however, become emotionally invested in timelines.

    What you get

    • A smart, collaborative team.
    • Exciting brands and ambitious projects.
    • A workplace where ideas matter.
    • The occasional chaos. As a treat.

If this sounds like your kind of beautiful madness, send your CV to ***email_hidden***, with a short intro telling us why you’re the person who can keep the circus running without becoming part of it.

    Salary Range: R25 000 - R35 000 monthly CTC
