As a graduate in Deals, you’ll help clients realise the potential of their mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital market transactions. Joining this highly skilled, high-performance team means that you will help various businesses grow faster and dramatically transform their operations. A role in Deals offers you exposure to a wide range of clients, from global multinationals through to entrepreneurial, owner-managed businesses, covering both domestic and cross-border transactions.

The Deals business is dynamic, fulfilling and challenging. Responding quickly and decisively is key, as advice is offered in real-time.

To be successful in this role, you need to be a well-organised and self-directed individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organisation and have:

Strong numerical skills and financial understanding
A high level of agility in a demanding environment
Great interpersonal skills
A passion for and interest in the financial markets
Superior problem-solving capabilities
A desire to build on commercial and industry knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Requirements

A relevant Honours degree with financial literacy, including, but not limited to:

Commerce or finance

Investment management

Mathematics, statistics or mathematical science

Data science or data analytics

Financial science or financial modelling

Economics or business science

Quantitative finance or actuarial science

Information systems or computer science
