Role Purpose
The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, lead‑generation initiatives, and campaign execution for Mecer Inter‑Ed. This role partners closely with Sales, Business Unit Managers, and Vendors to create impactful, integrated marketing activities that support revenue growth, learner acquisition, partner engagement, and brand visibility.
The Marketing Manager owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of marketing campaigns — from concept, design, and messaging, through to execution, reporting, and optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned to company objectives, sales targets, and vendor priorities.
- Create quarterly marketing calendars, campaign roadmaps, and content plans.
- Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to guide marketing decisions.
Campaign Management
- Plan, launch, and manage digital and traditional campaigns across:
- Email marketing (newsletters, promotions)
- Paid media
- Website content
- Events & webinars
- Manage campaign timelines, creative assets, collateral, and partner approvals.
- Work with vendors to leverage MDF/JMF funds and co‑marketing opportunities .
Content Creation & Brand Communication
- Social media posts
- Web banners
- Brochures & flyers
- Emailers & newsletters
- Case studies
- Product descriptions
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with internal SMEs to create value‑driven, engaging content.
Lead Generation & Sales Enablement
- Create campaigns that drive qualified leads for the sales team.

- Support new product launches, promotions, and training offerings (including evening classes, new courses, special deals).
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Manage website updates, landing pages, and SEO optimisation.
- Oversee LinkedIn strategy and growth.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide weekly/monthly reports.
- Use data insights to make recommendations and improve future campaigns .
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, and other vendor partners to align on marketing goals.
- Handle campaign approvals, branding compliance, and MDF claims.
- Attend vendor marketing meetings and represent the MIE brand.
Events & Webinar Management
- Plan and execute webinars, workshops, and partner events.
- Coordinate with internal teams for event logistics, presenters, and follow‑up nurturing.
- Build post‑event reports and lead lists for the sales team.
Team Leadership (if applicable)
- Mentor junior marketing staff or interns.
- Allocate tasks, review creative work, and ensure delivery deadlines.
- Support professional development for team members.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical & Marketing Skills
- LinkedIn Campaign Manager
- Email automation platforms
- Canva / Adobe Creative Suite (advantageous)
- CRM systems (HubSpot, Dynamics, Salesforce, etc.)
- Strong copywriting and visual communication ability.
- Experience in lead-generation campaigns and conversion tracking.
- Ability to interpret analytics and create actionable insights .

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- 3–5 years marketing experience (education/IT training industry is advantageous).
- Experience working with corporate vendors (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA) is a strong plus.
- Proven track record of delivering successful campaigns and lead‑generation programs.
KPIs & Performance Indicators
- Lead generation volume and quality.

- Sales enablement impact (feedback from TSMs/BUMs).

Additional Information
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for events/webinars.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Expected to collaborate closely with Sales, BUMs, and senior leadership.
