Intern Quality Control

What will you be doing?:

• Laboratory and Online Quality Control
• Reporting Food safety & quality control deviations.
• Receiving of Raw Material & Packaging
• Testing of raw material, in-process, and final products prior to approval.
• Active participation in INVOCOMS.
• Support of the food safety culture plan on site
• LIMS capturing and issuing of COAs

Skills and competencies:

• Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards
• Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 will be advantageous

Qualification Requirements

• Grade 12
• Studying towards a National Diploma: Biotechnology or Food Tech or Analytical chemistry (final year)
• Tertiary institution logbook (stipulating the relevant exposure and experience needed)

• Working in a pressurised factory environment
• Working in the quality team on site across all manufacturing teams
