SUMMARY

An Engineering/Manufacturing concern is seeking a Maintenance Millwright (PTA East) with 3 - 5 yrs maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry (preferably in the Automotive production environment).

Experience on Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

Requirements:

• Matric /Grade 12 or N4 / Trade tested Artisan - qualified Millwright
• Stronger Mechanical than Electrical
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Mechanical and technical skills
• Deadline driven - ability to work under continuous pressure
• Physical stamina and strength. Shift work and standby.

POSITION INFO

Duties:

• Installs, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and machinery in the production plant.
• Perform millwright duties and responsibilities as per maintenance requirements and relevant specifications
• Install, assemble and repair machinery and equipment
• Perform preventative and routine maintenance
• Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagrams
• Operate hand and power tools, and welding, cutting and measuring equipment
• Conduct fault finding, diagnose and troubleshoot problems
• Test equipment to ensure it meets quality and safety standards
• Adhere to HSE procedures, 5S and Housekeeping standards
