Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification, preferably a National Diploma in
Horticulture or related qualifications in facilities management
- 5 - 8 year’s relevant experience required
- Computer literacy: MS Office
- A code EB valid driver’s licence
- Required to work in different geographical locations.
- Project Management will be an advantage
Key Performance Areas
- Co-ordinates and controls the operations of the Section, inclusive of
planning, scheduling, implementing, maintenance, monitoring and
evaluating outcomes and attending to deviations in productivity
and performance in the Area.
- Co-ordinates tasks and activities associated with the
implementation of procedures, monitoring and reporting on
outcomes.
- Plans, prioritises and schedules Recreation and Parks projects and
maintenance works.
- Co-ordinates and controls tasks and activities associated with
controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
- Monitors, evaluates and communicates progress with regards to
development and maintenance.
- Performs specific administrative tasks and activities associated with
the updating and maintenance of records and information related
to the activities and operations at worksites.
- Manages capital, operational, Ward Allocations, URP and
other contracts and projects.
