Linux Developer

We are seeking an experienced Linux Developer with deep technical understanding of Linux-based infrastructure, container services, and application runtimes.

The role forms part of a broader data platform modernisation programme, where workloads are being migrated onto Databricks on AWS. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding existing Linux-hosted workloads and supporting their transition into a cloud-based environment.

This role requires strong hands-on experience across Linux systems, containerised environments, and runtime dependencies, with the ability to understand how applications and services behave at operating system level.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Linux infrastructure and enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and environments
• Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Proven exposure to AWS cloud environments and cloud migration initiatives
• Understanding of application runtimes, system dependencies, and workload behaviour
• Experience supporting enterprise platform modernisation or transformation projects
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within hybrid enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education
